Anyone still use one of these?
I had one in my new house and removed it.
Smelly things, lose forks and spoons down it and never had the need to use it.
The plastic plug that comes with it is too loose so cant use the sink for anything.
I replaced it with a 90mm plug and washer and now I have the use of two sinks again.
Cost 26.00 for the fittings to convert it back.

I did that too then bought a worm farm does the same job better plus you get to use the castings for the garden

should be banned . waste of nutrients .
causes pollution of drainage systems instead of being converted to compost or worm castings . thats my 2 cents worth anyway.Posted Thursday 18 Oct 2012 @ 6:27:30 pm from IP # -
I can't remember the name of the system, but it is a worm based grey/black water treatment system where they stipulate that you have a sink garbage disposal installed and use it to feed the worms with so they get some food scraps as well as black and grey water.
There is a place for everything, but it has never and wont be in my house!
