Hi All
New here, but been a subscriber to Sanctuary for a while.
In our new (old) house we've discovered the ancient gas heaters are no longer fit for use. It will be years before we do the big fix up to the house, but there is one on the horizon. What that form will take we don't know yet, so we figure the best option for heating the two main living spaces for the time being is something electric (as there are existing solar panels) and with (relatively) low set up cost and complexity, which puts us at reverse cycle AC. I suppose it can be possibly redeployed in some new way in the future version of the house too.
I don't know if there are other heating options which fit the bill, and happy to hear suggestions, but assuming reserve cycle AC makes sense, can anyone recommend an installer who services northern Melbourne, works with good quality and efficient makes like Daikin and Mitsubishi, and is actually interested in helping us get the most efficient solution for our circumstances?
I want to get quotes from one of the usual suspects, but also from someone with a greener bent. Looking for suggestions for the latter!
cheers
Andrew
