Hiya,
Anybody know of any manufacturers in Melbourne that can make motor -> transmission adaptor plates? Typically they are made from 6061 aluminium, but obviously very precise.
Cheers,
Luke

Take a computer file to any good CNC aluminium fabricator. Look up Computer Numerical Control (CNC) from the Business Whitepages - Melbourne.

Thanks. I was looking more for any particular place that anybody had had a good experience with. Always better to go with a referrer rather than a cold call!

there are lots of engineering places, just pick one near you
LG,
Contact your local Australian Electric Vehicle Association branch. I'm sure they will be able to send you in the right direction.
Thanks Morbo, I was looking more for if somebody had used someone specific.
Bushwalker: I've been trying to get in touch, but don't seem to be able to find a specific contact. Know of anyone's details there? The AEVA site doesn't seem to list any. I'm gonna try to make it over to their meetup tomorrow night.
lukegiuliani,
Try the Melbourne ATA Electric Vehicle Branch.
LG,
On the meetings page, there is a phone number 0432401132
Worth a try.
I occasionally visit the SA branch and there are a lot of people able to help so I reckon the Melbourne branch would be similar. Lots of knowledge available for making a conversion and getting it registered etc. I think you would find it worthwhile to go to the meetings.
Thanks all, will give the AEVA meet up a go I think.
Cheers!
