Thanks for linking to that piece about the semi-annual report of Grant King, CEO of our friendly energy utility, Origin Energy.
Mr King does not seem to be so rigidly "on message" as our Federal Ministers are obliged to be. In fact, his message is quite delightfully mixed.
Where is Origin going, really? Do they have a grand vision for the future, or are they kicking the proverbial can down the road?

The Australian website concerned, "RenewEconomy" seems to be rather less blatantly promotional and doctrinaire than most. It may be a useful source of information for threads such as this one ("World energy supply and demand, renewables and fossil fuels") and another one: "Alternative Energy...are we spending our money wisely?"
