I need advice how to fix my faulty solar panel. After panel stops working I discovered that wires attached to glass pane dropped off. I tried to soldier copper wires to something that look like aluminum or silver band but tin-led doesn’t stick. I bought "wire glue" from Jaycar. Carbon based glue is good maybe for high voltage but with my 15V solar panel 50 ohm resistance render this solution useless too. Any idea how to re-attach wires to panel?

I fixed a few Solarex modules in the 90s by resoldering after carefully removing the encapsulation material from around the connection point that had corroded away. The surfaces have to be very clean. Then I used silicon to reseal the hole.
If soldering doesn't work try a crimping technique. Use a thin brass strip or solder tags removed from old nicad battery packs. Worth a try but its a very delicate job. Make sure you reseal to prevent corrosion.
