I have not told you what brand they are because I do not want to hear from you that I picked the wrong ones.
What you picked is your choice. Brand new batteries often perform better in the short term than expected, time will tell whether they cover their own cost and you made a wise choice. I've seen enough batteries that are not technically correct for a particular situation sometimes it works out, often not.
New batteries are one of the expensive components sometimes chosen purely on price, occasionally you get lucky, only time will tell whether yours were a good choice, short term no one knows for sure.
I've also seen incorrect batteries used for installations fail in less than a year, simply couldn't cope with the cyclic use they were subjected to.
The difference is, I do this for clients or existing clients, I want to ensure the right equipment is used, the design is right, the installation is correct and at least to Australian Standards, that I can provide and deliver warranties/guarantees for a system and/or components, as well expecting the system to meet or exceed expectations.
Original topic, a large number of people windup using roughly 10kwhs per day on a true off-grid system nowadays. Some people use a lot more (We do).
