   Hi Mr Moderator. I was wondering if the ATA might have a look at making a TAPATALK interface available to the forums. It would make the forum far more accessible to apple users. I use it with other forums and it makes posting, searching and editing much easier. ( no affiliation to the product / company )

   Just had a look at that and they don't seem to have one for BBPress, our forum system, nor did that keyword bring up much in a search of their developer forums, so it might have to wait. See http://tapatalk.com/forum/showthread.php?p=10919 for a brief discussion

   on another 'tack', is there nothing that can be done about the spam volume here - as I write there are 6 in a sequence, from 1 poster, and last night there were 10 - I have screen shots of both, and have just sent off an email about the current one.

   I'm sure ATA's credibility as an organisation, and as a forum is damaged when new people visit the site and see these types of sequences so frequently.

   Spam is an unfortunate part of all forums, the only way to eliminate it completely is to have a moderator approving all new profiles and posts, and that simply takes too much time. Many forums out there are 50% spam or more and they become unusable, most forum users know to expect it.

   We have three antispam systems running on the forums at the moment, but the ones getting through are being manually posted by real humans, not bots, so all we can do is delete them when they appear. I check the forums every 12 hours at the most, even on weekends, it is never there for more than 24 hours.

   It seems that bbpress is now supported by tapatalk. Any chance of getting this off the ground?

   Bump. Tapatalk really does make forums more user friendly.
   P.s. I'm not affiliated with tapatalk, just hate using online forums through the phone without an app.
