We have a home in Perth hills which is not connected to scheme water. We have a 120KL rainwater tank from which our house water is pumped to a 2KL header tank, giving about 8M of head. All pipes to/from the header tank are 50mm PVC / polythene (recent partial replacement due to tree root damage of PVC) which then drops to 20mm copper at the house.
We have plenty of water flow, but low water pressure.
Every washing machine we have tried takes over an hour to complete a short cycle due to the long fill times (because of the solenoid valve being designed for mains pressure water).
Can anyone recommend washing machine(s) which are designed to operate on low water pressure?

Tony have you removed the screen in the hose connection? However 8m head is only about 11psi I think, you need low pressure solenoids but I don't know where you'd get them

or you could simply add a small booster pump to the washing machine supply pipe with a pressure control switch to provide the extra pressure required to overcome the issue.

We have a 10 year old F and P top loader with no modifications and it handles the 6m head cold and 3m head hot water pressures okay. If our planning is crook and we need a quick wash then we open lid and fill more quickly with telescopic spout at adjacent laundry trough. Our hot water has a fairly long run so we turn tap on to get that line hot so that machine doesn't start beeping when it thinks hot water is too cold.
There would be a lot of rural houses with low hot water pressure from open tanks in ceiling space so a call to a rural appliance seller/installer might get you a solution.
