Industry would have to work according to the amount of stored energy they have available to them and that may be just daylight hours as it used to be, if they installed their own solar systems and storage they would work around that. By changing our direction and only supporting 21st century sustainable industry, will give us a future, when now we have none, but ultimate disaster
After all when you think about it, that was how industry worked until the ideology of globalisation was forced upon the people along with 24/7 operation, which is designed purely for profit growth and global controls. That's why they support more and more immigrants and people as they require them to increase profits and grow consumption, never thinking about the future consequences beyond their life spans. Which will leave the next few generations with no resources or raw materials to work with, that's another reason they refuse to support recycling of everything and bury it. As it would take away their controls and allow small business to flourish.
The facts are, when a small business is started up, or the corporate cretins see an opportunity to take over a market, they force small business out by the power of their purchasing dollar and pressure upon suppliers and call it competition. Yet if you look at the bigger picture, there is no competition and when they have full control of the local market, all the jobs disappear. How many workers do you see in large retail outlets today, compared to when those corporations moved in and how many are full time compared to when there was a number of small businesses who employed people full time and provided a real service.
Now everyone is expected to work according to the dictates of the monopoly corporate world, whose aim is to force everyone into part time work and poverty. If you look outside the illusionary bubble the corporate and political elite are fooling their ideological slaves with, you will see slowly but surely jobs for the masses are becoming part time casual, as they push automation and desperately cling to failed and failing primitive polluting industry.
All they want is more and more consumers, believing that profit growth will bring them glory and control, hence growing immigration, when our country is not capable of supporting the population we have for the coming generations. The facts are, they have created a fatalistic empire which like all ideologies, are pure fantasy and is failing before our eyes. When country can support no more than 10 million and if you look at the facts, that's how it is worldwide. Growing poverty and growing corporate controls by just a few companies, who get their way by bribing political parties with what they call donations and jobs for the political boys and girls.
Automation is what we should be looking at, but not at the expense of the people and to the benefit of just a few morons. What we need is to change our society so that everyone is employed, but has much more leisure time and there is more equality of opportunity, rather than now, where very few and even those with lots of qualification can't get a job, they have been conned and are left with a life time of repaying for their education. But it won't happen, everyone has been fooled all their lives and continue to be fooled into believing around the corner they will get what they want, where the truth is the opposite, with this current system and approach.
Putting solar and storage on every building, would be paid for by those receiving it and in similar ways to how they pay for their energy. It would be at much reduced costs, which would reduce even more as they paid it off and returns for their input into the local grid. It would create loads of ongoing jobs, new industry and small business everywhere, as maintenance and upgrades would be required. The extra energy from peoples homes would be sold to business, reducing even more costs to the people and business.
Who cares what happens to the dirty coal and nuclear fired generation, it is a finite industry no matter which way you look at it, as fossil fuels are finite, compared to alternative fuels and energy production. Investors could easily take their money out of last century polluting industry and put it into 21st century industry, nothing hard about that.
